Ely - 26 miles
A market town straddling the River Ouse surrounded by the flat horizon of the fens. The town is dominated by Ely's great Cathedral (founded in AD 673), with its magnificent west tower and unique octagonal lantern.
Downham Market - 9 miles
Influenced again by the River Ouse amid a drainage scheme first started by Charles 1. There is much Dutch influence in the architecture of the town.
Kings Lynn - 17 miles
A town of historical interest throughout the centuries. With two great churches, two market places and two guildhalls, all with significant architectural interest, it serves the tourist well.
Sandringham - 20 miles
Famous as a residence for the Royal Family, you may visit the house and gardens when the family are not in residence. There are many functions held here including craft fairs.
North Norfolk coast - 40 miles
Many long sandy beaches, quiet coastal villages plus seaside towns such as Hunstanton and Sheringham.

Home of flat racing, the Jockey Club HQ, the National Stud and the Racing Museum, and the town abounds with stables and stud farms. It is of course the home of the famous race course with its dramatic new stand, and many famous trainers and jockeys can be found on the gallops in the early morning.
